- Pure Krill's Phospholipid-bound omega-3 fatty acids are water dispersible, making them easier to digest. Don’t be fooled by others with misleading labels. Look for Pure Krill and confirm the phospholipid percentage makes sense (above 40%). Look for PL56, which is 56% Phospholipids and if you don’t see any Phospholipids listed, chances are good that it has fish oil in it. This is the Omega 3 supplement you should be taking.

Oceanutra Krill’s long chain omega-3s are better recognized by the body because they are mostly attached to phospholipids, resulting in higher cellular incorporation. These phospholipids ensures the delivery of fatty acids EPA and DHA to various parts of the human body, such as the heart and brain.

Oceanutra contains 100% Pure Krill Oil and is extracted exclusively from euphausia superba, an Antarctic krill species rich in the long-chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA as well as phospholipids, choline, and astaxanthin.

Oceanutra’s 1,000 mg pure krill oil contains long-chain omega-3 fatty acids and Phospholipids to help to support numerous bodily functions.

Oceanutra’s omega-3 fatty acids are bound to a particular type of fat called a phospholipid, which absorbs more easily than other marine oils that can cause digestive upset.

Powered by these phospholipids, Oceanutra's Krill ensures the delivery of the key fatty acids EPA and DHA to various parts of the human body, such as the brain, heart, eyes, and skin.

Oceanutra Krill are only caught on two owned and operated, ISO Certified fishing vessels that use a proprietary fishing technology that ensures a gentle catch process, which preserves the nutritional integrity of the krill, while also limiting environmental impact and eliminating by-catch.

These vessels are essentially food production facilities on water, where the krill are processed into a meal. This meal will be transported to an owned and operated NSF, GMP certified facility in Houston TX where oil is extracted and encapsulated in softgels.

Is Oceanutra Manufactured in China?

No, we use Next Generation Pure Krill oil, caught in the icy, deep Antarctic waters & the oil is extracted & encapsulated in Houston, Texas, USA. The Krill are harvested at the World's only A+ rated fishery & are both sustainable & traceable.

Does Oceanutra Contain Fish Oil?

This Product is 100% Pure Krill Oil and contains ZERO fish oil or additives. Look at the Phospholipid levels on other krill oils. You'd like to see between 40-56% Phospholipids to ensure you are getting high-quality Pure Krill Oil. Oceanutra is 56%

What does it mean if a product contains Ethyl Esters and/or very low levels of Phospholipids?

Ethyl Esters are synthetic and often found in lower quality products containing fish oil. Their Omegas have lower bioavailability. You will not find them in high quality Pure Krill Oils. Some products claim to be krill, but contain mostly fish oil.

Does Pure Krill Oil in Oceanutra Cause Digestive Upset (make me burp) Like Fish Oil?

No, since the Omega 3's are bound by Phospholipids in Pure Krill Oil they are absorbed directly into your cell membranes, which are also made up of Phospholipids. Fish oil needs to be digested in the stomach, which is why you get those fishy burps.

Oceanutra is dedicated to the reduction of ocean plastics and the protection of all marine life. We use glass bottles and metal lids in our packaging to help reduce plastic usage which can add to this ever-growing problem.
